Ladies of the Quad Social Club, founded on April 4, 1985, is an organization that seeks to help all freshmen women make a smooth transition into Howard University. The organization accomplishes this goal by uniting freshmen women and introducing them to the Howard University community by: connecting them to upperclassmen women who have successfully made the transition, teaching the characteristics that are needed to spiritually, academically, and socially excel at Howard University, and finally, creating an environment and supplying the tools necessary to nurture their talents and growth. LOQSC aims to project the positive image of the African American woman. We embody our mission through our three pillars: sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
